You will receive confirmation that your deposit has been submitted as soon as the picture has been taken. HOWEVER, it is extremely important check back on the mobile deposit at a later time to make sure the deposit has not been rejected once our employees have reviewed it. The review process may take up to 2:30 on the day the deposit it made.
This is very important-you must write across the front of the check “Mobile Deposit”. On the back, you must either write the words “For Mobile Deposit Only” above your endorsement, or if provided, check the box indicating a mobile deposit. We will be strictly enforcing these requirements!
We recommend placing the check in a safe place for 10 days you have received credit for your deposit. Then you should destroy the check by shredding it.
The cut off time for mobile deposits is 2:30pm each day. Mobile deposits made after that time will be credited the following business day.
No, there is no record given on your statement as to who you received the mobile deposited check/checks from. You may either develop a process to track that from home, or you may find that mobile deposit does not work the best for you.
Yes, unfortunately there are some types of checks we cannot accept by mobile deposit. They are listed below:
a. Checks or items payable to any person or entity other than you or in addition to you.
b. Checks or items containing obvious alteration to any of the fields on the front of the check or item, or which you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check or item is drawn.
c. Checks or items previously converted to a substitute check, as defined in Reg CC.
d. Checks or items drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States.
e. Checks or items not payable in United States currency.
f. Checks or items dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposits.
g. Checks or items prohibited by FMBNDs current procedures relating to the Services or which are otherwise not acceptable under the terms of your FMBND account.
h. US Savings Bonds.

Our Pay a Person transfer feature allows you to make these payments without ever writing a check and then possibly having to stick that check in the mail.
No, what you would need to know is that person’s cell number or email address. You will log into FMBND online banking/mobile banking and navigate to Pay a Person. You will then click on the Make a Payment icon. You will be prompted to enter which of your accounts you wish the payment to be made from, the amount of the payment and then the payees name and contact information. From this point, the person you are paying will receive a notification, via email or text, saying that you would like to send them money. Upon accepting your payment, they will be prompted to enter their routing number and account number.
It is normal for the Debit (or the deduction) side of the transaction to post earlier than the credit. It usually takes three (3) business days for the credit (deposit) to be made, but it may take as long as five (5) business days.

When in the Pay a Person screen, click on the Activity icon, there you will see a status column and the word Complete if the entire transaction has been processed.
This service allows you to transfer funds between your own accounts at FMBND and your own accounts at other financial institutions.
Once logged in to FMBND online/mobile banking, click on the External Self Transfer link, then the Add Your Account link. There you will be prompted to enter your account information at the other financial institution, you must have the routing number and your account number for the other institution handy. Once the information is entered, the service makes a small trial deposit and then a trial withdrawal from your account at the other institution within the next business day. The withdrawal is less than a dollar and it is never larger than the deposit. Once you know the amounts of the trial transactions, locate the account in the Accounts list and click Activate. You will be asked to enter the amounts of both trial transactions. If both values are correct, the account is activated and you are ready to make transfers.
The trial deposit/withdrawal verification process ensures that the rightful owner is setting up the account with the service. It also ensures that the account information is valid.

If possible, payments will all be sent electronically through the ACH system, in those cases your account will be charged on the day your have chosen the bill be paid. However, in some cases, payees are not able to receive ACH payments, which prompts the bill payment processor to send a paper check through the mail. They estimate the time it will take for the check to reach your payee on the date you request, and then charge your account on that same date.
If a check does not reach your payee, you must call the Bill Payment processor at 1-855-366-7269. After verifying that the check has not cleared, they can reissue a new check. A refund will be made to your account here for the amount of the lost check and basically the process will be restarted. We cannot place a stop payment on the check here.
